Because Severus Snape overheard a profecy made by Tralawney and the only part he heard was 'the one with the power to vanquish the dark lord aproaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and so he told voldemort and Voldemort went after harry, because his parents had defied him three times and his birthday is 7/31. it could have been Neville Longbottom too, but voldemort left him alone because he was a pureblood
Harry was accidentally made into Voldemort's Horcrux. This created a connection between Harry's and Voldemort's mind. This caused nightmares which Harry was able to check by using Occlumency.
Well kinda. Voldemort killed Harry in the forbidden forest killing Voldemort's horcrux but not Harry. But Harry was dead during that time... or at least that is how I have always classed it.
Voldemort dies, Harry does not.
the final battle between harry and voldemort where harry kills voldemort
In the Deathly Hallows , the third time with Voldemort killing Harry ( it was in the Hogwarts' Forbbiden Forest) the spell had backfired on Voldemort again. It made Harry go in to see Albus Dumbledore in King's Cross. After Voldemort casts the killing curse, Harry goes unconscious. Dumbledore's spirit leads Harry's spirit to a couple of seats and commends him for his bravery. He acknowledges that he is dead, but says that Harry is probably not. He explains, or helps Harry to figure out, that while Voldemort has just killed the part of his own soul that was embedded within Harry, Harry is still alive because Voldemort reconstituted his own body out of Harry's blood (in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire). Because Voldemort contains Harry's blood, as long as Voldemort is alive he preserves Lily Potter's charm, so Harry can't die at his hand. Thus, paradoxically, while Harry had to die before Voldemort could, Harry can't die while Voldemort lives. They have a double bond, with Voldemort's soul in Harry and Harry's blood in Voldemort.
Voldemort in like Harry Potter? in harry potter, Harry does.
In the great hall with Voldemort.
Harry prevented Lord Voldemort from gaining the Philosopher's Stone and returning to power. Voldemort was very weak and was forced to go into hiding, where he remained until 1994 when he was found by Peter Pettigrew.
Marvolo Gaunt was descendent of the Peveralls, right? And Gaunt was voldemort's grandfather. And harry was descendent of the peveralls AS WELL. Which leads to voldemort being harry's uncle.
Harry's one of Voldemort's horcruxes. On the night of Halloween, when Voldemort killed Lily and James, he made Harry a horcrux. Voldemort himself didn't know this fact that time. This is the reason Harry can speak parseltongue.
No the part of Voldemort in side him was killed when he the real Voldemort was killed ~ Actually, the Voldemort part (horcrux) of him died when Voldemort attempted to kill Harry. This killed part of Voldemort's self inside of Harry, the horcrux he hadn't meant to make. -Ben ~
Clearly, Harry Potter is seeing the fate of Lord Voldemort, should he die. This is confirmed by Harry Potter in his final confrontation with Lord Voldemort: He tells him that he (Voldemort) can still repent; that he should do it; and that he (Harry Potter) had seen what would be Voldemort's fate otherwise.Clearly, Harry Potter is seeing the fate of Lord Voldemort, should he die.
