Why is WikiAnswers telling me that I answered a question poorly but I didn't answer it at all?

There could be a bunch of reasons like maybe you clicked answer it, and by accident you didn't write anything and you clicked submit.

Why can't WikiAnswers answer any questions?
WikiAnswers answers hundreds and hundreds of questions each day. Many of the questions that are asked are poorly worded and impossibly vague. The others are answered by volunteers as and when they have time. There are other websites where you can pay people to answer questions, and if WikiAnswers does not meet your needs then you are welcome to seek elsewhere.
Why do some people on wikianswers give the wrong answer to a serious question when the wrong answer have no connection to the question?
Oftentimes, I can only guess that its because wikianswers is not being moderated enough, and it is too easy for someone to register and give answers. Poorly worded / ungrammatical questions, such as this one, are also a factor.
Why can't WikiAnswers answer the question you just asked?
Because the Wikianswers contributors, supervisors, and staff are busy, they get loads of questions coming in daily. So it might take a few days to answer your questions. It is like trying to catch raindrops in a teacup. Please be patient.Also, some questions can't be answered. The question may be poorly worded so that we don't really know what it's asking, or it doesn't include sufficient information to answer. The may be too impractical to answer ("How many mayors are there in the United States and what are their names?"). Or it is a question that won't be answered as a matter of policy. That includes celebrity home phone numbers, mean-spirited questions, and information on how to perform illegal activities.
Does WikiAnswers answer every question?
No WikiAnswers does not. We try to get to every question we can answered but Answers is ran by volunteers so it does take time to get around. Also sometimes questions are hard to understand or do not have enough information to answer.
Why doesn't WikiAnswers give you the information that you need?
Because you ask questions thatare excessively esoteric (What is the length of my right large toenail?)are poorly phrased (Can a person be trusted?)contain so many words spelled wrong that nobody can understand your question (Are you aloud too smok weed in there contry?)is beyond the pale of common decencyis a hypothetical question (Is S. Driehouse serious?)regards illegal activity or is contrary to WikiAnswers terms of service.Another reason is the people who answer questions using nonsense or gibberish, simply to amuse themselves or their friends.So, for the question at hand, many, many questions are asked and answered on this site.
When are you going to start answering my questions?
Many questions don't get answered or take a long time to answer because they are poorly formed questions or have spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes that make them hard to understand. If your question is well formed it will have a better chance of being answered

All sorts: Scientific, philosophical, rhetorical, moral, religious are some areas in which you will face questions. You will be able to answer some, but there are questions that cannot be answered because the answer is not known, or the question is poorly worded, or the question makes no sense.
