Its because of the gaps between the blades of the fan. When a person speaks in front of a fan, the sound travels as usual but when it reaches the rotating blades, some of the sound goes through the gaps between the blades and some of it is reflected by the blades. So we hear the voice with gaps in it that sounds robotic
In an electric fan electric energy is converted into mechanical energy which makes the blades of the fan spin. On the other hand in a loudspeaker electric energy is converted into sound energy which produces the music.
Well, my dad does that but nothing bad happens, so I don't think so.
I've never heard of a DC ceiling fan, but.. AC-Alternating current. Electricity flows through a circuit in one direction, then changes direction and goes back the other way. This happens 60 times per second in the US. (60Hz) The US power distribution system is AC. DC-Direct Current. Electricity flows through a circuit in only one direction continuously. Batteries powering a flashlight, for example, are DC. Well, all batteries are DC. Like I said, I've never heard of a DC ceiling fan, but the DC fan's motor is designed to run on DC (such as batteries) only, and the AC fan motor is designed to run on AC only. I have heard however of a solar powered attic ventilator, which would be a DC fan. If there is a DC ceiling fan, however, keep in mind it needs a power source, and you won't be able to hook it up to the electrical box in the ceiling. That box is AC. The power source for a DC ceiling fan is likely replaceable batteries or solar cells, neither of which will make for a very robust fan.
Fans rely on taking air from behind and pushing forward. If the fan is blowing air on a hot day then in reality you believe your being cooled but your actually not. Now say you prop the fan in front of a refrigerator with cold air then it would be cooling you off. It all depends on location of the fan.
It is the radius of the fan blade.
No, "pan" does not have a short 'a' sound. The 'a' in "pan" sounds more like the 'a' in "car."
Just click the box and record it or just keep clicking to change the sound like to go to robot and ummm a fan and in a tunnel and stuff
There are a number of ways you could make your voice sound electronic. You could stand in front of a fan and talk for example.
you go to the club on the far right and fan the curly haired robot
Yes. The A in fan has the short A sound as in fad and family. Fan rhymes with ban and tan.
There isn't one! Insted you go to the factory and get a fan. turn the fan on and turn to the robot.
The sound made by a fan is called either Horrah or Yeay. The horrah is that made by a football fan and the yeah is that of a soccer fan.
The Sound of Music - Christine Fan album - was created in 2003.
Just go to items click equip then click and hold on the robot (be next to her).
You take the fan to Club Nouvea Riche and use it to fan the snotty robot on the lowest floor. He'll make it worth your while and gives you nickel.
As each blade passes in front of your mouth it reflects back a little bit of sound. Once the blade has passed the sound continues without reflection. This causes a very rapid, interrmittent echo which sounds, well, weird.
Yes. The A has a short A sound as in fad and family. Fan rhymes with can and man.
