My student driver had been holding the steering wheel to it's maximum left and right position frequently over 30 minutes while practicing parallel parking in a small lot. The Power Steering system clearly did not like this. After cool down, it works normally.
check the serpentine belt tensioner for being bad, it might not be keeping the drive belt tight enough against the pulleys.
It depends... if you fall asleep your cars not gonna suddenly stop or zoom off. It could do either or stay the same speed. The point is that you cant steer! not how fast it goes. anyway... you shouldn't fall asleep at the wheel anyway. have a cooffe or something.

Start the drift by braking and turning at the same. Then, apply full throttle and steer such that the front tyres follow the path that you want them to follow. Don't steer to control the angle of the drift. Steer to control the path of the front tyres. The angle depends on the speed of the car.
Stay calm. Do NOT hit hit the brakes suddenly, do NOT try to steer abruptly back onto the pavement. Reduce your speed gradually to make sure the car is stable and then steer GRADUALLY back onto the pavement. Any sudden or abrupt braking or steering can easily cause you to lose control, but gradual action can bring you back onto the pavement while maintaining control.
