I know quite a bit about beagles. I have four of my own and I'm currently fostering four more. I am also a certified dog trainer. I don't consider a beagle a hyperactive breed. A Jack Russel is normally hyperactive, a beagle is usually more of a couch potato. All dogs need exersice and beagles love to be outdoors with their nose to the ground hunting lizards, squirls and anything else they can. Besides allowing the dog plenty of time to be outside you can also burn up the extra energy by playing fetch with your beagle.
AnswerI don't know your dog. So I won't presume to know why he's hyper.. but beagles are KNOWN for being hyper active dogs. Walking them outdoors, and playing with them may help with exciteability. Also crating them works too.
Answer-------- as mentioned before, Beagles are notorious to be hyper and have a lot of space to play helps.
well i have a beagle and she is also hyper. its because beagles are haunting dogs so they can smell a lot at once and when there's to many smells its like there brains twitch and they become really really hyper. when that happens DO NOT pay any attention to your dog or else it will just start doing that for no reason
Because it needs something to do, and some exercise. Why don't you teach it how to fetch, or take if for a long walk. You could even possibly look into some Dog Training to tire them out, or some agility lessons. Some breeds are more hyper than others and may need more exercise than other breeds.
beagles are hyper because they are small dogs and they just like to play, espacially as a puppy
My sister's cat is so hyperactive it will jump from wall to wall!
becase she is hyperactive
The hyperactive child was very abnormally active. She is very hyperactive when she eats too much sugar.
Hyperactive means super active. Hypo active is the opposite.

Their is none. The names were mixed up sense they were origonally from England. They became popular in the US so we now call them American beagle.
A Beagle and Papillon cross is not a pedigree breed of dog, so there is no specific appearance. But generally, it will have physical features of both Beagle and Papillon.
Unfortunately, the store hyperactive does not have a website. But, if you go to links such as http://www.zazzle.co.uk/hyperactive+tshirts, you will be able to see the clothing.
PROBBLY 1 years old cause i dont know yet so if you have a beagle, resurch it!

I HAVE JUST ADOPTED A BEAGLE MIX WE WERE TOLD HE WAS A BEAGLE AMERICAN BULLDOG MIX, HOWEVER I BELEIVE HIM TO BE A BEAGLE RETREIVER OR BEAGLE FOXHOUND MIX DUE TO THE LONG LEGS AND SLIM LONG BODY SO NOT THE EVIDENCE OF A BULLDOG I FIND THIS A GOOD QUESTION.
