Best Answer

The term warm-blooded refers to the ability of an animal's body to keep itself at a normal temperature. Birds display this characteristic by being able to keep warm in conditions as cold as the Arctic tundra to the ability to remain cool in desert surroundings. This, therefore, allows all birds to be classified as warm-blooded.
