A child's unvaccinated status can be helpful in diagnosis because it may increase suspicion for certain vaccine-preventable diseases. Knowing that a child is unvaccinated can prompt healthcare providers to consider these diseases in their differential diagnosis, leading to earlier detection and appropriate treatment.

How is civil status related in conducting a community diagnosis?

Hello. I also have done several CDX (Community Diagnoses) way back in college. And for me, I think CIVIL STATUS is very helpful in identifying the root causes of health problems in a community. For example, a community with a high percentage of MARRIED people has a chance of becoming a dense-populated community thus, high rates of street children or out-of-school-youth or worst, prostitution would also be prominent in the diagnosis. A community with high percentage of Divorced/Separated, Widowed and/or Single status on the other hand is most likely to have high rates of unemployment and poverty for lack of partnership support for the whole family. That I think is the relavance of CIVIL STATUS in relation to conducting a CDX.. Hope it somehow helped.
