I'm not familiar with acetaminophen but before you go into any type of surgery i suggest you ask a doctor before taking any type of drug or medicene. It could react with something during your surgery and can make it have a bad result. so bottom line, ask ur doctor first
No
Ask your surgeon.
Yes
Yes.
2 weeks prior to surgery, a week is ok but stop as soon as possible, I found out I was having surgery in a week and I obviously wasnt informed about not taking any advil and such a week before so its ok. Absolutely NO meds in you within 24 hours of surgery, unless the drug is approved by your doctor.
I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure u shouldn't eat at all before surgery and you can only drink small amounts of waterthat's what i had but i was in there for appendicitis so i don't know if that was a special case
Yes, these are OK together. Tylenol is a pretty safe pain reliever. You just have to follow directions on the box and don't take too many. Overdosing on acetaminophen can cause liver damage.
Yes. Completely ok. Sometimes even helps.
Yes, the two have no negative interactions.
Normally yes, so long as it's at least an hour before your surgical procedure. However you do need to inform medical staff of exactly what medication you're on before your surgery (including over-the-counter meds and supplements) - that way there's no risk of accidental overdose.
Funny, I just taked with my doctor about this. I'm going in for surgery, and she said that detoxing the liver is OK when you're taking tylenol. She mentioned that the only risks with Tylenol (acetaminophen, to be exact) is liver DAMAGE. Apple cider vinegar help the liver, so it more or less balances it out. Hope that helps!
getting an ear piercing has nothing to do with a knee surgery so you should be fine.
