Well, he isn't, really. It's true that the effective gravity is only one-sixth that on Earth, but the weight and bulk of the space suit counteracts that. It wouldn't allow an astronaut to jump normally, for example. Plus, as sturdy as the space suits were, it would only take one fall to rip the suit and ruin your whole day.
The Moon walking astronauts did discover that it was possible, and fairly efficient, to hop with both feet at once, sort of like a kangaroo does. That was a lot faster than walking.
Depends on where the astronaut is.If you're thinking of the moon, then an astronaut can jump up and down because there is gravity on the moon. It's just not as strong as on earth, so the astronauts can jump higher and farther. If you're talking about in deep space, or aboard the international space station, then the astronauts are not really jumping. They are pushing off the floor or walls, and will keep flying in the direction they pushed until they hit something or grab on to something.
It is physically impossible to jump over the moon. You would have to be able to stay airborne for hours probably. And you would have to jump many miles high.
it would be 738927892
People would be able to jump about 25 yards
unranus
One example is how light an astronaut weighed when standing on the moon. As there is very little gravity on the moon, the astronaut was able to jump much higher than he could back on earth.
become an astronaut and go to the moon
because in NASA they only allow people who can jump over 8ft to the moon
jump or wall run? If you mean wall run, then just run up to the wall and jump at it while still holding the jump button, you will start to wall run... keep doing this and you will soon be able to do it easily. :D

"I came to get down, I came to get down, So get out your seats and jump around, Jump around." 'Jump Around' by House of Pain (1992).
No elephant can jump. They are to big stupid. They are the only manmal to not be able to jump
you would be able to jump on the moon. the moon's gravity is 1/6 of earths gravity so there is a bit of gravit but not alot so you will be able to jump abit
Who knows, Maybe one day there will be hovercars floating around the street, So there is a chance that we will one day be able to jump right into our game, Its possible!
A grasshopper can leap to about 20 inches, which is 20 times the length of its body. Some species are said to be able to jump even farther.
Jump Around was created on 1992-06-22.
it can't jump it to much weaght
