Buying tampons and pads isn't embarrassing at all.
buying menstrual products isn't embarrassing in the same way that menstruating or simply being a person with female anatomy isn't embarrassing. Somewhere along the line you've picked-up on this idea that being a girl or a woman is somehow shameful and the fact you menstruate should be hidden. The quicker you get over this idea the easier your life will be, it's just tampons and pads...it's absolutely no different from just buying deodorant, tissues, or toothpaste.

You cannot do this, it would be embarrassing for you, so wear a tampon, or stay out of the pool.
How do you take out a tampon with a septate hymen?
You remove the tampon in the same way that you inserted the tampon, you simply pull out. If your hymen gets in the way then gently push it back so you can pull the tampon out through the hymen. If you have problems then you can always use pads instead, and ask for surgery to have the hymen cut so that it doesn't pose you any more problems - but whether you do this or not is up to you.
How do you ask your mum for a tampon without feeling embarassed or nervous?
Well, it is a embarassing thing. I would try and tell yourself that you really wanna know, girls want to feel fresh when they start their periods! Its the same for people who have just started. So, asking is nerve-racking I know, but if you never ask, how will you stay fresh?

Check out the related link. Putting on a tampon can be tricky. Maybe ask a trusted female to direct you (standing outside the door/stall) such as a teacher, friend, etc. If you cannot feel your tampon, it is in correctly! Also, ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE AND AFTER INSERTING A TAMPON. Failing to do so can result in infection. As for pads, changing regularly can help. (it can also be costly) Diva-cups are similar to tampons, but are reusable so it's obviously a money-saver.

There are only a few options for when a woman is on her period: tampon pads Instead (cup type thing) are the three I know about well. Tampons and cups (Instead) are both inserted into the vagina, and some women don't like doing that, so they rely upon pads. Also, when females are virgins they are smaller/tighter in that area and it can be uncomfortable to use a cup/tampon. Also, when the period is not as heavy of a flow then a pad is the best option. If a woman is too 'dry' and uses a tampon she can get 'toxic shock syndrome'. The cup is safe when the flow is low, but a pad is generally easier than a cup/tampon at the beginning and end of the period. Of course this might have been an even more basic question... women wear pads because they have what we call a 'period' which is a monthly 'menstrual cycle' where she bleeds from her vagina so as to renew the lining of her uterus.

This is probably because it's in crooked or it's not in far enough. When a tampon is properly inserted, you shouldn't feel it at all. If it hurts or is uncomfortable, pull it out and try again with a new one.
