Why do Muslims give money to the poor after Ramadan?
Being charitable to the poor and the needy is one of the most important teachings of islam. Charity may be done anytime, anywhere. However, the Muslims do charitable deeds especially during the month of Ramazan. On or before Eid, special amount is given to the poor which is known as Fitrana.
