The beautiful and perfect 9th Nanak, known to all of humanity as Guru Tegh Bahadur, is called often Hind di Chadar, for the purpose of his shaheedi, which was, that he sacrificed himself, to save the religion of the Hindus, even though he himself preached a very different path, known today as Sikhi, also the Hindus before this had hated the Sikh Dharma, for the Sikh path being one that rejected the Caste System, in fact the shaheedi of Guru Tegh Bahadur has lead the Sikh religion into growing out their Kesh. Guru Tegh Bahadur was beheaded on the 11th November 1675 in Chandani Chowk, India now there stands a Gurdwara called Sees Ganj. Aurangzeb the mughal was king at the time an he ordered all hindus to be murdered when Guru Tegh Bahadur heard this he told aurangzeb that he was ready to die in order for the hindus to live therefore he was given the name Hind Di Chadar which means saviour of the hindus.
