Why is howrse saying that your HTML on your page is wrong so it wont work?

HTML when contains error won't work on the browsers. It can happen when a tag is not closed correctly.

It's not advisable, but I don't think they say that you can't. If you have the right HTML, you can click on "My Page" and then edit your Presentation. Switch it to HTML Mode, by clicking the button on the right (above the smileys) and then you can type in your HTML codes and click save. If you've done it right, it should work. Good luck! Simply by copying the HTML code of the layout you want. Go, to your page and click "Modify". Go onto HTML. Then, paste your code in.

There is no V1 or V2 they only updated the look of the howrse page the person who gave you the layout code probable coded the HTML wrong in which case they weren't a very good designer anyway pros never make that mistake. try asking the person to recode it again and if its still not working try someone else and if its you who made the layout then :) keep trying HTML is hard. and if you can't get anything to work i make layouts low class i have to say but im trying .-check out my page -Angel690 also did you put the code in the HTML area or the text area also if you use a code you have to write what you want to write in HTML mode too.
