Hydroelectric power is 100% efficient as there is no energy requirement to draw/start power production (outside of that to construct the materials of course).
To start coal or uranium energy processes energy is required to start the process. These processes rely on heat from these energy sources to create steam which can run turbines which naturally lose energy released from these sources. Because not all of this energy is released in the form of thermal energy and because converting energy is intrinsically inefficient, these sources of power are currently less energy efficient.
(actually hydroelectric plants are no more efficient than any other turbines, and possibly less than most highly efficient multi- stage compound condensing steam turbines. The efficiency is based upon how much of the energy passing through the turbine is converted to mechanical energy. Roughly 60% for the best designs.)
Hydroelectric power has high start up costs, dam building [habitat flooding], and can only be built in specific areas (river valleys) as they take up vast quantities of space.

The expression is used for th hydroelectric energy.
Coal, natural gas, petroleum, copper, zinc, silver, uranium, hydroelectric power, forest.
Romania has: soils for agriculture, hydroelectric power, forests, methane, coal, copper, zinc, nickel, tellure, uranium gold, silver, mercury, sulfur, lead, mineral waters, marble, building stones etc.
yes uranium contains a lot more energy than coal and that is one of the reasons that people prefer nuclear power to fossil fuel power but like coal uranium is not! renewable
More reliable than most other forms of electricity. Water flows down hill. As long as the lakes and rivers that are feeding the hydroelectric station don't dry up, they will always generate electricity. You will never run out of gas or uranium or coal to power the plant.
They both generate electricity.
no it is cheaper
Yes,once its used as much oil and coal power station
No. Some forms of renewable energy (e.g. solar cells) are much less efficient than conventional energy sources. Modern coal and natural gas power plants are about as efficient as it is possible to make an energy source. Hydroelectric power plants are about the only renewable energy source with efficiency near coal and natural gas power plants.
. Fossil fuels (such as coal, petroleum and natural gas) and nuclear power (uranium) [wikipedia]
Coal dont't use uranium ! But coal ashes contain traces of uranium.
water is used for hydroelectric power it is not used for burning fossil fuels
