you may forget what you originally wanted to say. Writing it down is more efficient because you can go over it and change any mistakes. speaking from memory may cause you to mess up and then your standing in front of hundreds of people looking like a douche bag, resulting you running off stage, tripping in the process and causing your pants to fall off. So do us both a favor my friend and just write the thing down.
