To the Jew God is one - it is a monotheistic religion. However, in the Old Testament there are many references to the Spiritof God (starting even in Genesis) and explicit reference in Joel where God states that he will pour out his Spirit on all people. Similarly in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) there are many prophesies relating to God the Son and the Incarnation, both ideas of which, of course, make more sense with hindsight. To the Jew the name Yahweh - the holy name of God - is inutterable because of its holiness. Instead, in the Hebrew Bible the name is translated into other descriptions e.g. Adonai (Lord). To the Jew, Yahweh represents God - the monotheistic God with a personality and Spirit and not part of a Trinitarian deity. However, it was Jesus who taught us to call God 'Father' (Abba in Aramaic - more akin to 'Daddy') much to the astonishment of the Jews - except those who accepted his teaching. He also referred to the Holy Spirit of God as a separate entity - yet still part of one God that was under his control not the Father's ("Iwill send you the Holy Spirit...") and of course on many occasions Jesus claimed to be God the Son and the fulfilment of the prophesies of the Old Testament in God becoming human through his Son. Thus, to the Jew YahWeh remains God. But to the Christian Yahweh embodies the complete Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - one God yet with three personal aspects. To assume that YahWeh is just the Father is quite wrong, Biblically, Historically and Theologically. He was never regarded as 'just' the Father either in the Christian Religion nor in Judaism. This is why the theology behind those groups who believe in YahWeh (or, 'Jehovah') as the Father God and the Holy Spirit and Jesus being somehow subservient is very wrong or skewed as it has no basis either in the theology of the Jewish religion, the theology of Christianity, the history and archaeology of the Jewish nation or in scripture - either the Old or New Testament.

Yahweh is one of the names used for God in the Hebrew Bible, often understood as the name of the Father in Christian theology. It is seen as a personal name for the God of Israel, emphasizing His presence and self-revelation.
Surnames weren't used until around the fourteenth century so Jesus' father was just known as Joseph.AnswerJesus' Father's coventant name is Yahweh.--Improved--Yahweh also means god in hebrew and it is said that you shouldn't say Yahweh.
Just to be clear on my answer, "Jehovah" did not became "Yahweh" neither "Yahweh" became "Jehovah". "Yahweh" is a popular Hebrew transliteration of the tetragrammaton in the old testament while "Jehovah" is a popular English transliteration in the new testament. These are both the names of our Almighty God, just in different languages.
Yahweh ben Yahweh was born on 1935-10-27.
