It is important for young children people and children that you work in partnership with parents carers and guardians because this gives the individual the best chance in life that they can have. By being in partership and knowing the individuals parents, it means you know the child or young person's background and their home life, this gives you a better chance in understanding the child and helping them in the way they need to be helped.
