The reasons are:
- to avoid splashing due to overheating
- to calm the boiling
First the components or the gases in the air are liquefied(made into liquid)under low temperature and high pressure. Then it is passed through the fractionating column.Gases evaporate there. Then the gases can be obtained.
If you put boiling beads in a solution, then it is easier to observe whether the solution begins to boil because the beads will vibrate. During the distillation process it is difficult to distinguish which solution is boiling so that's why they use boiling beads (quite honestly, it doesn't matter to me because I still don't see the difference!)
They provide a site for nucleation and prevent the liquid from superheating.
condensation
condensation then evaporation
Separation by distillation is based on the differences between boiling points.
This is known as a distillation. Ethanol and water can be separated using this process because their boiling points are different which allows them to be "boiled off" at different temperatures.
during boiling, the temperature of a mixture is different at different times. during boiling, the temperature of a substance changes at the start then it becomes the same and constant.
It would decrease
The changes of state that happen during distillation are: Liquid to a gas and gas to a liquid
yes its possible
you can over come the problem of decomposition of certain organic liquid by rarefaction atmospheric pressure that the boiling point of liquid become less than of its previous that prevent decompose it before its boiling.

Distillation is used to extract ethanol.
most of the carboxylic acids used during esterification are very volatile. boiling chips are added to maintain a smooth heating of the mixture and to prevent a voilent heating.
