Many say that Joseph Smith was uneducated because he didn't attend school. His mother taught him how to read, write, and do basic math, but his skills would be considered elementary at best. Even his wife said that when she met him, he couldn't compose a decent letter. He educated himself during his adult life after founding the Church, it is true, learning fantastic English reading and writing skills, as well as how to read Hebrew, Greek, and other languages.As for his IQ, there were no IQ tests in those days, so you couldn't prove that.
