I have brown hair so how can I get black hair?
You can get black hair by buying professional hair salon items and a professional hair styling measuring cylinder to contain the hair dye. I just dyed my hair black from brown and used a salon branded dye and a sensitive scalp solution. You can get these items at Sally's Beauty salon store. You can do this at home.

i would think any color that is darker than your hair is now.....i know that i have been dying my hair black for about a decade....and i asked a salon professional why my hair always seems so healthy when i dye it so much.....because you always hear how dying damages hair.....i was told that the lighter the color of dye....the more damage you inflict....so because i was using a dark color...no damage! so stick with the dark browns i would say.....if damage is the issue.....hope that helps!

The best way is TO NEVER DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! Food dye is really bad for your hair. All the chemicals can actually make your hair shrivel up! SO don't use food dye, use color dye, at the salon/barbershop.

The only advice that l can give on this one is seek advice from a hair salon, as speaking from experience, the more hair dye that is applied to over processed hair, the more difficult it will be to condition the hair and to get it healthy - l know its difficult, but grow the dye out and give hair lots of TLC... it will be worth it in the end! If it gets to much, go for a hair cut. I am trying at the moment to grow all my dye out, as my hair is so damaged, the dye doesn't even take properly, it just turns a horrible shade of brass!
