∙ 14y agoAsking this question must be a result of self-evident curiosity because it is saying that WikiAnswers is "so much fun" and turning it into a question gives it a broad meaning and acts as a question of the WikiAnwers community. It may very well be, but it still cannot be considered fact. It would have been more proper to ask the question " Why do I think it is so much fun answering WikiAnswers questions?"
Besides that point, many people enjoy answering questions on this website because of a wide range of reasons. It could be that it tests their knowledge, it makes them feel intelligent, it helps them to organize their thoughts, or maybe it is "so much fun" because they have nothing else to do that brings more enjoyment.

While WikiAnswers does not encourage participating just for contribution points, a fast way to get them would be to correct the spelling, grammar and wording of questions/answers. You would be very surprised at how quickly they build up! If that is not your thing, answering questions in an area that you enjoy is not only fun, but does get contribution points!

If you ask a fun question on wikiAnswers, you must be sure to select the right category for it. Select 'Humor and Amusement Corner', or a sub-category such as 'Jokes and Riddles'. Without that clue, the question may be tossed out with the 'junk' questions. Many children send in useless, silly, half questions just to be annoying or out of boredom. The busy volunteers on WikiAnswers toss them out automatically so they can get back to answering real questions. Don't let that happen to your funny questions. Pick the right category. Everybody appreciates a little fun!
