Why is it that when a person tells you there's over a million stars in the universe you believe them but if someone tells you there's wet paint on the wall you always touch it to make sure?

because the stars are God given and the wet paint is not.

2 I know there are billions of stars because if you go to the right place, where the sky is not polluted by light from cities and roads, then you can see the millions in our own galaxy, and there are millions of galaxies you can see in photographs.
