I'm not 100% sure, but it could just be a reflection of Roxas "memories" of Kairi from Sora. Or it could be fanservice.

These are obviously spoilers: Kairi forgets who Sora is because when Sora's memories were taken apart, everyone who knew him or was linked to him in some way forgot who he was, just as he forgot them. Then gradually as Namine put Sora's memories back together people started to remember him. He was asleep the whole time, so I only assume he would forget the people he knew considering his memories were scattered.

Seeing as Sora is a very forgiving and friendly person, if he were to remember her and everything she was forced to do to him, he would still be her friend, as proven in Chain of Memories after he learned she gave him fake memories of her. There would probably be nothing more between the two, seeing as she made herself Kairi's replacement (explaining Sora's attachment to her in his memories), so Kairi is truly Sora's special one.
