Why is love so confusing?

We all have to learn various ways how to deal with love and its followings and there will always be times that it is confusing, hurtful, sad, happy, wonderful etc. Either way always learn from all your relationships to apply to your future relationships which will help when you do find someone that you want to be with longterm - that does not mean that it will not always seem confusing but lifes lessons will always help - there is no guarantees where life and love is concerned but think of it this way - if you never felt what confused, hurt, sadness or rejection etc. feels like then how would we ever know how good it feels to be loved, happy, wanted, comforted etc. Love is one of lifes greatest mysteries that we all find out and do on our own but share with others.

if you choose to marry, think it over a little, some marriages don't turn out well.

I think that in order to try to make a relationship work you need to spend some time alone and get to know more about yourself. you need to learn what you want and what kind of crap you don't want to deal with really all starts with you and what makes you happy. If you meet that person that can understand that , good. If you don't , don't rush it. Things happen and sooner or later someone shows up when you least expect it. In my life I tell people to always be yourself. Look at the great example in Paul Potts of Britain's Got Talent an average looking fellow who was broke and became rich overnight when he decide to flip a coin and try out on the show. Sometimes another little factor can be that we are not always right. That can hold you down forever. If you have a couple of people in your life whose opinion you value, ask them to level with you and take the criticism to your advantage. If you interrupt them and make excuses, you could wind up alone longer that you want to. Listen , whoever gets you is going to get a nice understanding person ,just make sure you are one before he or she gets here. By the way i feel the same way. Spend time alone doing what you want . Give yourself a break. Stay well. Smile

Also, as William Blake said in his poem, "Helmetism at its best," "Love is one that must be nurtured, like a child in the cradle." He also said "Remember to be safe when tupping your ewe." Another example of this is James K Baxter's poem, Rocket Show, where he states "Love is a blind Rosetta Stone, mad polar moon." The reason that love is so hard to understand, if we go by the Rosetta Stone, is due to its chemical composition. The Rosetta stone is made of peridotite and pyroxenite, which can only be found in the pink terraces of Dover, some say it is impossible to recover this, hence it is difficult to understand. Because of the research done on this stone and therefore on love, it is very difficult to understand.
