Moksha is the ultimate goal of life. We human beings are lost in the material world and we we want success, money, name, fame, when in reality none of these give us eternal happiness. Eternal happiness, everlasting peace comes from realization of the truth, it comes from liberation from this body, mind, ego, it comes from becoming one with the Divine. This is Moksha. Some people call it enlightenment or salvation. Some people call it Nirvana. The names may be different but Moksha, enlightenment, Nirvana, these are all the same - the ultimate goal of every human being because otherwise we will live, we will cry, we will die only to be born again and again. The goal of life is liberation and unification with the Divine.
