This is one question I have intimate experience with. Ever since I have started to make over 200k annually life has become extremely more complicated. Along with the ability to not work also came allot of new responsibilities: I've barely turned 21 and have been supporting my immediate family since 18, other family members also manage to crawl out of the woodwork in the last few years totaling 12 that are dependent on me, every time any acquaintance is in financial trouble who do you think is called. Besides friends and family troubles its true that greed is the root of evil and not just your greed. I am gonna steal a line from Scarface, "Never under estimate the other guys greed!", ever since my monetary fortune it has been hard to have a relationship. Everyone I have dated I find myself wondering if its the money or me. Try and hide the money till you think you know them and it produces a whole new set of problems. Most of my relationships have been ruined by money. After awhile it seems the more money I make the less I actually get to spend on myself. All in all if you have the confidence to ignore the creeping feeling most everyone wants what you have you might do better than I have.
