im not sayin this is right but have you piped it and if you have piped it then it will need jetted and if you've done none of this then it is prolly a worn out diafram in your carburetor not pumping gas fast enough to your motor
The fuel filter probably needs to be replaced. It could be stalling because of a major vacuum leak. Check the PCV valve and all the hoses.
One possibility is a defective lock-up torque converter solenoid. If it runs and idles fine in then this would be what I would check first. Disconnect it and if it then stops stalling in drive, you have found the culprit.
Is it stalling? If not, dont worry about it, your fine. My 90 accord does that everyonce in a while but continues to run.
It's probably a dirty mas check mas on top of air cleaner box two screws clean spray the little wire with brake clean
If the boat idles fine and revs fine in neutral in the water and idles fine on the trailer, however has no power when you stick it into drive and give it some throttle a common problem with some of these early Mercury V6's is in the stator. The only way to fix this is to replace the stator.
Probably a bad idle air control valve.
If a 1991 Honda Accord dies when the vehicle stops or slows down the Idle Air Control Valve may be broken. Once replaced the car will be able to regulate the air to fuel ratio appropriately and avoid stalling.
id change the coolant temp sensor
Mine did this and I found out it was the timing belt that needed to be changed.
Sounds like the throttle cable is broken.
Check the air filter, it's probably clogged.
Could be clogged converter in the exhaust system..
