Why is my computer sometimes not able to connect to the internet even when connections are available and working I have a Dell Inspiron Windows 7 Internet Explorer?

It could be that your computer is not picking up on the signal from your router (you can check in the Network and sharing center) or very weak. Also, on a quick side note, I strongly recommend switching internet browsers as there are many out there that are faster, safer, and more aesthetic than Explorer. Anyway, you may have connections blocked by your computer's firewall or virus protection, if you live in a populated area, people could be eating up all of your bandwidth, and the list of possibilities goes on.
