A friend is supposed to be someone who treats you equally and who is nice to you. So in other words, if someone is rude or mean to you, don't be friends with them because in the long run they never really liked you at all. Where as someone who is nice to you, but not popular or fit enough to meet your expectations, well then that person will end up being your friend. Not the rude one.
