== There are several factors that could be contributing to keeping your house warm.
I live in Arizona, where the direction that the house and its windows face makes a difference. For windows on the southern and western exposures you especially need heat resistant window coverings. I have installed the screens that reduce the amount of light coming in. However, there are also vertical blinds that have insulating qualities, lined curtains, tinted windows, double paned windows and so on that would help.
You may not have reflective coating on your roof or the insulation on the roof that would help stabilize the inside temperature of your house.
If you are in an upstairs apartment, the person below you (or if you are above the laundry) may be keeping their space especially warm. Since heat rises, you may be benefiting from that.
Finally, you may also want to have your cooling and heating systems checked out by a professional to be sure they are running properly. Also, check that the venting in your house is open so that the air flows properly.
You could run a fan in the house wherever you are to help air movement, also.
