It may be - that the battery is simply 'dying'. Re-chargeable batteries don't last forever - especially those in mobile phones. If your phone is more than a year old - I'd recommend replacing the battery for a new one. You'll find your phone will last much longer between charges. Additionally - turn the phone off overnight (since you're not using it !) Most phones can be set to switch on & off at your discretion. Personally, I set mine to switch off at 22:00 and back on at 07:00.
The Iphone 5s battery can die quickly due to open applications and usage. It helps save battery life by properly closing all applications that are no longer in use.

Yes, but it drains you battery fast.
The battery should drain slowly on an iPhone 5s. If the battery was charged correctly the first time. It should take around 10 hours to drain.
If the battery were not securely fastened down Any speed could possibly crack the battery. If the battery is securely fastened down it would depend on where the vehicle was hit in the accident.
Going Down Fast was created in 1969.
Because Macintosh rushes all their products, and they never bothered to design a decent battery cell for it.
2 suggestions.. 1:GET A/S SERVICE TO FIX IT 2:THIS IS WHAT I DID..FIRST,RESTORE THE IPHONE,THEN WHEN IT IS DONE,YOUR IPHONE SHOULD TURN ON IN A NEW HOME SCREEN...GO TO SETTINGS,GENERAL,AUTO-LOCK,AND SET IT TO 'NEVER' .. THAT WAY,YOUR IPHONE WILL NEVER TURN OFF! LOL.. BUT THAT WILL RUN THE BATTERY OUT FAST..
