∙ 14y agooverfishing is harmful because when you over fish the ocean water heats up and as it heats up it kills the sea corals Well overfishing can cause near extinction or extinction. It drastically effects food pyramids, chains, and webs. Overfishing causes oscillation. Oscillation is dangerous, causing species to go over the carrying capacity to an environment.
