Petrol is better fuel for cars than coal because coal is a solid therefore it has to be transported by lorries or trains, releasing carbon dioxide and other harmful emissions. Petrol however is a liquid and can be transported in tankers or sent through pipes. Furthermore, coal releases less energy than petrol.
Additional answer
It would be fair to say that petrol is more efficient than coal in energy conversion terms. It's also less dirty (imagine your Mum filling up at a coal station!)
Petrol can ignited easier than coal. Coal fired cars would be far too slow and also they would be alot of hassel.
less pollution
because coal has more energy intake ?..,
Yes they arent good cars at all as a matter of fact they are way worse than our cars.
there not no power or noise
They don't. Diesels get better mileage and last longer.
Cars that run diesel are long lasting than petrol cars.
Diesel cars get higher MPGs and tend to be more reliable. However, petrol cars tend to be cheaper both in the short term and long term. If you are regular driver who doesn't make very long trips often, a petrol car would be fine.
because petrol is easer to burn than diesel
They are a very reliable car diesel engine probably better than petrol
first of all its engine. ADVANTAGES - petrol is cheaper than diesel so cheaper to run. petrol cars generally cost less than diesel (a few 1000). petrol engines are usually faster than diesel off the line and have a higher top speed than a diesel car with the same sized engine. DISADVANTAGES - petrol is less economical than diesel and also diesel cars are much better for over taking than petrol as it has more torque (pulling power)
diesel is usually more expensive but diesel cars usually have more mpg than petrol cars
