Without such information people cannot know which is the right drug for them and, assuming they get the right drug, they cannot know how best to use it. The purpose of medicines information for patients is:

• to maximize the best use of those medicines after the decision has been made to take them.

In the above case grandmother accidentally took some of her grandfather’s pills lake of proper information about it. If Information is clear and easy to understand she did not take wrong medicine. It has already included with many medications is spit among label on the bottle, the box the bottle comes in, and a government- mandated printed insert. Those inserts are meant to clarify important information for the patient, this situation did not happen.
