Why is recycling is not good for environment?

Recycling is not bad for the earth. It is good for the earth.

• Recycling paper means we don't have to cut down so many trees.
• Recycling aluminum means we don't use so much energy producing new cans and products, and we don't have to dig so much out of the ground, where it's getting scarcer anyway.
• Recycling plastic uses less energy than it takes to make it from its base material, which is oil. The world is rapidly running out of oil.
• Recycling glass saves energy as it is much easier to make new bottles from broken glass than from the original ingredients.
  

All these things mean we use fewer Natural Resources and we don't put so much carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, into the air where it contributes to global climate change.

Well I wouldn't say recycling is bad for the earth, I mean it is good, but some parts are bad. Like for example all the extra bins you have in your back garden, One for normal rubbish, one for tins, glass etc, paper basket, food waste and a garden waste one, and all of these extra bins means more trucks coming to pick them up. :)

The earth is in trouble by not recycling due to the fact that there are so many people now and will be in the future who want so many man made and man processed products. People must learn now how to conserve the earth and resources by reducing their use of so many man made products, reusing whatever is possible, and recycling everything that is possible. By learning the techniques and systems of recycling, it will not be quite as difficult for the next generation to handle the problem.

yes due to the fact there is only so much matter in this world.so recycling helps speed up the process while garbage stays in the dump breaks down completely in like 200 years and u can never use that chunk of land. think about LEGO blocks. if u have like 100 blocks u cant add any more peices plus when u build sumthing like 54 blocks u only have like 46 left. so if u recycle it actually is faster to break down. when it breaks down u have ur 54 pieces back faste. but garbage will stay there long so u wont get back the 54 pieces back for a long time. so u gotta build more stuff with only like 46 pieces.
