As for my personal investigation and research, I've noticed that religion is highly important in people's life because of the fact that they see religion as a reason for living. For example, this one lady i spoke with said "we need to have some kind of something (meaning God or any superior strength) to be able to have faith, to be motivated, to become a better person day by day, and to know that something out there is greater than anything on earth, or even yet, than the universe."
