Sanitary housekeeping is important for good health because it kills bacteria and germs that can cause disease and illness. Sanitary housekeeping should include: washing floors, sweeping, dusting, lining and cleaning of kitchen and bathshelves--every six months, fall and spring cleaning--especially lining and cleaning of shelves, cleaning sinks and bathtubs, taking down cobwebs, cleaning and sweeping of furniture and cleaning of lamps and other furniture items.... Spraying with lysol spray everyday also helps.
