Underwear is just more intimate for girls. My gf spent all summer in this very very tiny bikini that showed just about everything. But this fall I accidentally walked in on her changing and she was just in her underwear. She totally freaked and yelled at me. But that underwear cover three times as much skin as her bikini did. I guess it is an intimate thing or maybe just different things are different in different places. I wear a speedo for swim team, but I won't want to wear it walking down the hall at school.
