Certain groups of people try to classify silver as a heavy metal such as cadmium and Mercury, in order to promote fear mongering regarding the use of silver in medicine. The term "heavy metals" is both meaningless and misleading. Just about anything can be toxic if used abusively. In truth, silver, gold, copper and platinum are noble metals, not "heavy metals" like mercury, plutonium or lead. If you look it up in the Wikipedia encyclopedia, it is not found in the list of heavy metals.
No
not heavy not medium density
Silver and hard and heavy and shiny
3kg
Silver is considered a heavy metal in terms of its density compared to lighter elements like oxygen or carbon. However, it is not as heavy as some other metals like gold or platinum.
"HSP" Means Heavy Silver Plating.
Gold
Silver ore is cold, heavy and shiny. Silver ore feels like a rock. What a stupid question -.-
Yes, silver is a relatively heavy metal compared to other non-metallic elements. It has a density of 10.49 grams per cubic centimeter, making it heavier than materials like aluminum or copper.
Carrying around gold and silver was to heavy.
Gold has a density of 19.3, almost twice as heavy as silver at 10.5
None of the materials listed is a heavy metal, because most of them are compounds, and only elements are ever heavy metals. The only one on the list that does not contain a heavy metal is chlorine, which is a nonmetallic element.
