If it is white smoke, you probably have a bad head gasket or a cracked head.
try tread lock.
in exaust before the catalytic convrter bank 2 is after the cat. On passenger side under front door.
You don't mention where the smoke is coming from or what color the smoke is. If the smoke is black and coming out of the tail-pipe, the engine is running rich and you probably need to do at least a minor tuneup and change the spark plugs, inspect the distributor cap and rotor and replace if necessary, and check the spark plug wires. If the smoke is blue and coming out of the tail-pipe, the engine is burning oil. Usually this is caused by worn piston rings and an overhaul may be necessary. If the smoke is blue and coming from under the hood, you probably have a bad valve cover gasket that is leaking oil onto the exhaust manifold or pipe. Replacement of the valve cover gasket will cure this. Good luck, hope it's not blue smoke coming out of the tail-pipe. Intake manifold gaskets are very common and expensive if put off.-BClear.
car smoke is coming in threw my vents in truck it smells like carbon minioxde
It is in the air intake hose coming from the air filter box going to engine
e is for the exaust stroke......i is for ignition stroke......i is the one you are looking for
If its BLACK smoke it's unburned fuel. If it has carb, the carb float is too high or sunk. If it has fuel injection it's a stuck (open) fuel injector.
IT usally means that WATER is coming out of YOUR tailpipe wich is STEAM & running ruff is Because the smoke is coming from the DEAD cylinder because the head Gasket is blown(bad) {USALLY}
