There is a troubleshooting guide at the back of your manual, it may be you need to update your drivers or video card.
Or you could possibly ask/look in the forum (Sporum). Please write a message on biancakissedashorno's message board for help on crashing, troubleshooting, etc and she'll try answer your question(s)

Re-install the game and see if you are still having difficulties.

∙ 12y agoIf you have already installed the original Spore, It won't install on your computer. I really don't know why, but I'm guess it doesn't let you because there is a creator on the normal Spore.
