What causes no power to coil pack in 1998 dodge stratus ?
it is located on the left side of the front valve cover, where all the spark pug wires connect to....
If getting no spark, it could be your spark plug wire is bad or your coil pack. say 3 and 6 getting no sparks, that means your coil pack is bad and you need to replace. if you getting no sparks after replacing new coil pack, it could be your ignition module.

if water is getting on the coil pack. that will cause it to burn out.
If you have checked the coil pack to make sure it is getting power then it might be the ECU. I would make sure you check the engine codes too.
symptoms are: you can hear the engine missing, spitting and sputtering, loss of power...you can tell if it is a coil pack by unscrewing the spark plug that it connects to coil pack. when you look at your spark plug it should be a light grayish, white..this means the coil pack is working....it is best if you do this with new spark plugs, because your spark plugs could be bad. but you do this process until you find a bad plug then, that coil pack probably is the bad coil pack.
Several local dealerships and repair shops sell coil packs. A new coil pack can be purchased at a variety of distributors. You may consider getting a professional opinion as to what part is missing.
