I am from The Bahamas, so my opinion may be a bit biased. But I believe that the fact that there is no other place exactly like it in the world makes it special. I mean sure there are other Caribbean countries with similar features, but nowhere is quite the same. The fact is we have the most beaches, over 700 islands and cays and of course there is Atlantis on Paradise Island (which is awesome by the way). Those appeal to anyone from tourist to the locals. We also have a unique history. Then there are the people which I guarantee you are very different from most people you will meet (Caribbean or elsewhere). Anyway you get the point. All these things are what makes The Bahamas so special.

The Abacos Islands of the Bahamas are one of the world top boating and sailing destinations. With its own calm sea surrounded by charming islands, they are definitely worth a visit.
