∙ 16y agoBecause many innocent people died in it. Not only Jewish people, but the Roma and Sinti people aswell, together with many Slavic, Dutch, French (and so forth) resistance fighters. It was a terrible thing, and even today people mourn their family members or even entire families in it. As a reslult of Holocaust, Israel was formed, and the Israeli-Palestine crisis started. Many, many bad things were a result of Holocaust , and that is why it was one of the worlds greatest tragedies... R.I.P. to all it's victims.

that is one of the big issues, as it was not those who believed themselves to be Jewish, it was who the Nazis decided were Jewish.
Some of the victims believed strongly in God, and in the son of God, but because their parents or grandparents were Jewish, the Nazis classified them as Jewish and they became one of the six million victims.
It is unfortunate but when reflecting on the Holocaust we have to use the Nazis definitions, as it was they who decided who lived or died and those people's individual beliefs, or the strengh of them could not condemn or save them.
