"PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system"The name is accurate because the Playstation games are software that is run by the different Playstation models just like all game consoles run software and have hardware including some form of processor
This is because the company that has made it is a computer company. The ps3 is also pretty close to a computer. You are able to browse the internet on it, and many other things that are similar to a computer.
