In the book, each tribute is allowed to have one souvenir of home. Catniss (the protagonist) is given that pin as a reminder of who she is and where she's from
No, because the author said that The Hunger Games would be a trilogy (only three of them) but the good thing is that there will be three Hunger Games movies which follow the exact same storyline as the books.
The book is already out and its called Mockingjay. The cover of the book owns a ravishingly beautiful light blue.
The Hunger GamesCatching FireMockingjayAll are written by the same author, Suzanne Collins. I suggest you read them all, they are my favorites, along with the Harry Potters, Gone, Hunger, Lies, and Plague, the Maximum Rides, and the Help.
The third book is called Mocking Jay it is not the victors.!!!! i saw the cover!!! Suzanne Collins showed the cover finally!!!!! The cover is light blue with a Mocking Jay [white to be exact]The book is called Mockingjay. One word. And what's with all the exclamation marks? And in England the cover is orange and red with a feather in the middle, probably a Mockingjay's.
"The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" by Suzanne Collins, a prequel to "The Hunger Games" series, was released on May 19, 2020. It focuses on the early life of President Snow.

I'm guessing that's a typo! In the edition of the book that I have (black cover, mockingjay pin) Katniss shoots Cato's hand on page 409, and kills him out of pity on page 414.
The Hunger Games: games where tributes fight to the death and only one is triumphant. This is the cruel punishment that the capitol created to the districts for rebelling against it. They consider this entertainment. Catching Fire: Katniss has sparked a rebellion in the districts towards the capitol and it is qickly catching fire in many districts. this is also associated with hernickname "the girl who was on fire". Mockingjay: Katniss is acting as the mockingjay(mix of a bluejay and mockingbird) for the rebels by transporting messages and making decisions. The mockingjay symbolizesthe bird that seems to fly everywhere and has special meaning to Katniss, once Rue shows her the mockingjay call and she recieves a mockingjay pin from Madge. If you look closely at the pictures on the cover of the books, they also symbolize the mockingjay. In the first book, it is just a meaningful pin, in the second it sparks a rebellion and catches fire, and in the third it becomes a full-fledged fire birb. In the simplest sense, Katniss was always considered the Mockingjay.
One example of a youth book with a green cover is "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins, which features a green cover with a mockingjay pin design.
No. The Hunger Games is a trilogy. Although, for the movie of it coming out, I heard that the trilogy is going to be put into 4 movies, instead of 3. One will be split into 2 parts. BTW trilogy means 3. Hope this helps! :)
It is light blue.
I would say black and yellow, maybe orange. (based from the cover of the 1st book: The mockingjay pin is yellow on a black background. Also black for district 12's coal mining, and black, orange, and yellow for the girl on fire things.) Those should be the colors. :)
