The blinking D on the Honda Accord means that the transmission is throwing out a code just like a CEL.
what year and model Honda civic? what series motor? D, B,
Honda Civic :D
i know you can if its a 5 speed and the blocks match. d to d, or b to b
No. The Prelude has a B20A5 motor. The civic will have a D-series tranny. They will not interchange (B and D series parts do not interchange).
What engines are they? If they are both D-series or bothe B-Series they will interchange.
i guess the same as blinking d light on honda element that just started today on an 06 element. has to go to fix it shop and ill let you know what it is soon. never had this happen on older hondas?
Most likely, yes, because they are D-series engines, but there's no guarantee on that.
won't start and d in cluster blinks... what can i do to fix it?
Yes, it is a D16Y8.
The best engines for a 1994 Honda Civic are the standard D-series variants. Honda built these cars for commuting purposes and their standard engines serve that purpose well.
Any D, B, K series. If you have the cash, you can have it.
