Low coolant? Water pump not circulating coolant? System air bound? cooling fans not working? Defective radiator cap? Bad temperature gauge?
The heater core is leaking. GEt a manual from DISCOUNTAUTOREPAIRMANUALS.COM and replace it.

You may possibly have air in the system. Or your thermostat is not opening and closing properly. Double check that it was put on correctly. It wouldn't hurt to call a mechanic. From personal experience, I find I get better answers from neighborhood mechanics, than dealerships.

The thermostat housing is where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine. remove the hose and the housing (2 bolts) and the thermostat is in there (it may come out with the housing)

Find the top radiator hose and follow it back to the thermostat housing, which should be located towards the fron of the engine on the intake manifold.
Follow the upper radiator hose. At the end will be the housing. Take it off and its right there
