ok someone else is speaking now: in hopes of opening the eyes of the blind sheep following a lie look below:

before you come at someone about The Bible and religion find the cold hard evidence that proves it even the bible has evidence in it that denotes the bible but people tend to run and hide from it because it is the truth and live in a lie. Where preachers preach that Judas betrayed Jesus to the roman's for 30 silver the bible does not say that the bible says that Judas betrayed Jesus to the high priest of Jerusalem capital city of Israel home of the Jews/Hebrews where he and the people of Jerusalem accuses Jesus born Jew of Hebrew claiming to be Christ (son of god of Christianity) of Blasphemy which is true he wasn't the son of god as in the Old Testament it says that gods people are israel and israel is jew and jew is hebrew which means god is hebrew which would make gods only begotten son a hebrew not a christian(christ)

Should the Nicene Creed be recited for a valid liturgy?

Yes, because it is a sum up of the faith. However note : There are other creeds the original Nicene creed without the addition of the Filioque is recited in all Eastern churches and can be recited in Western churches but the Nicene creed with the addition of the Filoque is the main creed for the Western churches. There are two other creeds, the Apostles Creed which is sometimes said at Mass and the Athanasian Creed. The Nicene Creed is said only at Sunday Mass and on Holy Days of Obligation. It need not be said at daily Mass unless the priest or congregation prefers to do so.

What was the importance of the NIcene Creed to christian faith?

The Nicene creed is important because it is a creed saying what the Catholic faith believes in.Roman Catholic AnswerThe Nicene Creed that we know today is the second of that name. It is more properly known as the Nicene-Constantinople Creed. It was originally formulated by the Fathers of the Council of Nicaea against Arianism, and was much shorter than the one we know today.

What is another Catholic Creed developed at Nicene?

Roman Catholic AnswerThe Catholic Church only uses three creeds: the Apostles Creed came out of the very early Church as a Baptismal formula. The Nicene Creed came out of the First Council of Nicaea, and the Athanasian Creed came out the fourth century, we do not have a specific author or place of composition. So, to the best of my knowledge, the answer would be none.

How would you describe the doctrine of God as three persons in Trinity as it is contained in the Nicene Creed?

The way The Nicene Creed describes God is wrong because if God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit were one being how could Jesus have reserected him self three days after he was hung on the torter stake? He could not have so the Trinity Doctrine has been and always will be proved false

What has the author Charles Wheatly written?

Charles Wheatly has written: 'A rational illustraton of the Book of common prayer of the church of England ...' 'The Nicene and Athanasian creeds, so far as they are expressive of a co-equal and co-eternal Trinity in unity, and of perfect Godhead and manhood in one only Christ' -- subject(s): Accessible book, Nicene Creed, Early works to 1800, Athanasian Creed, Trinity

How are the Apostles' Creed and Nicene Creed similar to yet different from each other?

They are very similar. In fact, the Nicene creed is essentially a lengthened version of the Apostles' creed containing everything that the Apostles' creed has in it. There is only one exception where the Apostles' creed has new information: the Apostles' creed states that Jesus descended into the dead before rising in three days whereas the Nicene creed does not mention the descending of Jesus into the dead. Both creeds are used in Masses said around the world as an acceptable prayer that occurs after the Homily at the start of the Liturgy of the Eucharist. It is up to the local Bishop's preference. In the United States, the Nicene creed is used most typically. The Apostles' creed is typically used when saying a Rosary.

Why is the Nicene creed important to Catholics?

The Apostles Creed explains the beliefs of most Christians, as to Jesus and his mission. Not every church or denomination uses or follows the creed.

If you compare the orthodox and Catholic symbol of Faith. what is the difference between the two?

The Nicene Creed (also known as the Symbol of Faith) is primarily the same, except for one difference. The Roman Catholics inserted the 'Filioque' clause (meaning 'and the Son') into the Creed in 1014 AD, without having the authority to do so. Because the Creed was established by an Ecumenical Council, only another Ecumenical Council is authorised to make changes to the Creed. This means that no Pope, Patriarch or Bishop has authority to change even one word of the Creed, and this has been confirmed by the entire Christian Church from the earliest centuries.

Who are Catholic and age of Catholic?

Catholics are Christians who have been baptized in the Church and believe in the Nicene Creed in its traditional interpretation. The Catholic Church was begun by Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ, around 33 A.D. so the Catholic Church is nearly 2,000 years old.

What are the three ecumenical creeds?

The Nicene Creed, The Apostles' Creed and the Athanasian Creed. The first two outline the main points of faith for all Christian Churches. The third concentrates solely on the doctrine of the Trinity. These Creeds are ecumenical in the sense that they cover the main doctrinal points of all the Christian Church whatever denomination. However there are some groups who refuse to accept the Creeds (such as the Jehovah's Witnesses) and so these cannnot be regarded as 'Christian' in the same sense as, for example, they deny the Trinity and therefore the divinity of Christ.
