Why is the placenta deadly if left in a woman when it can survive for the baby for 9mnths Why can't it just degrade on its own when it see's its not needed anymore?

The placenta detaches from the uterine wall during labor because of hormones that are released as well as the force of contractions. If it is left inside it can cause at least two major problems:
1. The placenta being inside the uterus would prevent it from contracting as it naturally does after the baby is born. Without this contraction, the site where the placenta separates from the wall of the uterus during labor would not be able to stop bleeding (think of the contraction as applying pressure to this wound). This can lead to postpartum hemorrhage and death of the mother.
2. Assuming that the mother does not have a hemorrhage and the placenta stays inside her uterus, it would begin to decompose because it no longer has a blood supply. Think of this as like any meat: it's fine when it's on the animal, but once you take away the blood supply it begins to die. This would in turn cause an infection that, if not treated, would likely kill the mother.

Well, I have a male Bengal, he is around a year and one month. He is continuing to grow, and because he eats so much (and runs and plays, like Bengals do) they may keep growing until they hit two years.
Last week there was an altercation whereby my Bf of 9mnths sent me an email that said i think its best for both of us if we end it. Later that week afer we had not contacted each other for 4 days he?

What is baby fetal development?
Baby fetal development is basically how your baby develops from an embryo to a child. Within the 1st month of development, an amniotic sac is formed around the fertilized egg that helps to cushion the growing embryo throught pregnancy. During the 1st month, the placenta develops, as well as the development of the eyes, mouth, lower jaw and throat. By the end of the 1st month, the embryo is about 1/10 of an inch long and this is when the heart begins to beat. The 3rd thru 8th weeks of growth are called the embryotic stage, this is when the embryo develops most of the major body parts. By 3months, the baby has arms, hands, fingers, feet, toes, and can open and close it's fists and mouth. At 4mnths, the baby can suck it's thumb, yawn, stretch, and make faces. At this stage the, reproductive organs and genitalia are now fully developed. At 5mnths, the baby can hear sounds and moves very often with twisting, turning, kicking, etc. At 6mnths, the baby develops lanugo, soft fine hairs that covers the shoulders, back, and temples.. this hair protects the baby and sheds at the end of the baby's 1st week of life. By 7-8mnths, the baby's brain is developing rapidly and most intestinal systems develop, but the lungs may still be immature. At 9mnths, the baby's reflexes are coordinated, where they can blink and respond to sounds, light and touch. The baby also position itself for labor and delivery. By the end of this month, the baby is about 18-20 inches long and is about ready to be born.

Well In Sydney the fast food places and other stores hire at 14-14 9mnths. If you were to work at McDonalds in Blacktown, they hire at 14 and you are most certain to get a job there. Whereas Retail Stores like Supre, Ice, ValleyGirl etc. you would need to be at least 14 and 9 mnths. So it basically depends on location.
